Believe

I do not know
where the path leads,
only that Christ has gone before me,
His wounded feet
still warm upon the road.

I do not know
how long the journey will be,
or what suffering
will ask my soul to surrender.

I do not know
how grace will enter
the places in me
that pain has closed,
or how the Cross
will become a doorway
instead of an ending.

I only know
that You are here.

Hidden beneath the mystery
of bread and wine,
You remain with me,
the same Jesus
who walked dusty roads,
who wept,
who suffered,
who gave Himself
entirely.

So I bring You
the fragments of my faith,
my questions,
my fear,
my small and trembling yes.

I place them
upon the altar of Your mercy.
Take them.

Consecrate them.

One response to “Believe”

  1. A quiet act of surrender — offering the small, trembling pieces of faith to the One who has already walked the road ahead. It’s a gentle reminder that the Messiah’s nearness is the anchor when the path feels unclear.
