I Saw Glory

Photo by Orkhan Sweden on Pexels.com

The Word became flesh
and came close enough
to breathe our air,
to enter our dust,
to dwell within our fragile days.

Eternal Light
disguised Himself in human skin
and made a home among us.

I had looked for God in the heavens,
but He was here,
quietly wrapped in flesh,
full of grace,
full of truth.

The One my soul had always known
came near enough to touch.

And in His face
I saw glory
not distant,
not hidden,
but breathing beside me.

All glory to our God Almighty!
Amen

One response to “I Saw Glory”

  1. What a beautiful poem. I especially appreciated your insight that moments of glory are often found not in the spectacular, but in the quiet places where God chooses to reveal Himself. That’s a powerful reminder that spiritual vision is less about seeing extraordinary things and more about recognizing His presence in the ordinary. Thank you for sharing this encouraging perspective and for pointing readers back to the wonder of God’s nearness. Blessings from our amazing and glorious King Jesus.
