I thought I knew where I was going
until the road abruptly disappeared.

So I followed the smaller path,
the one I had not chosen,
the one that seemed to lead nowhere
Except deeper into the woods.

Yet something in me knew
before I could understand.

The trees grew closer.
The silence grew deeper.
And somewhere beyond my certainty,
I felt You walking beside me.

Perhaps it was the courage
to follow what I could not see.
But blessed to have it revealed to me.
