In Silence, I Know Your Peace
Not in the search for answers,
nor in the clamor of my own thoughts,
but in the quiet place
where words become listening
and my heart remembers
that You have been here all along.
In silence, I know Your peace.
It settles like morning light
upon restless waters,
softening what I cannot mend,
holding what I cannot carry,
teaching me that surrender
is trust.
When fear shouts,
Your stillness speaks deeper.
When path is dark,
Your presence remains.
I need not grasp for certainty
when I can rest
within Your faithful love.
In silence, I know Your peace.
May my soul become
a quiet garden,
where gratitude takes root,
hope blossoms without striving,
and every breath
becomes a gentle prayer.
Remain with me
through the ordinary,
through joy and sorrow alike,
until my life itself
echoes this simple truth:
In silence,
I know Your peace.
Amen
