Let Your light enter the hidden rooms of my heart,
where fear has lingered
and old grief has built its dwelling.
Speak there in the silence, where no human voice can reach,
and let Your presence become my peace.
You are the Life—
the living Vine,
the fountain no desert can exhaust,
the Resurrection already rising
within every soul that rests in You.
Teach me the holy art of abiding.
To seek You more than certainty.
To desire You more than comfort.
To love You more than my own understanding.
Empty me of all that is not You,
not that I should become less,
but that Your life may be revealed more fully within me.
May every attachment yield to freedom,
every fear to perfect love,
every shadow to Your unfading light.
When words fail,
be my prayer.
When strength fails,
be my perseverance.
When faith is small,
be Yourself the faith that carries me.
Lead me along the narrow way
that opens into boundless mercy.
Anchor me in the truth
that neither death nor darkness can overcome.
Fill me with the life
that began before the stars were kindled
and shall endure when every earthly kingdom has passed away.
For You are my Way when I cannot see,
my Truth when I cannot understand,
and my Life now,
at the hour of my death,
and in the everlasting dawn of Your Kingdom.
To You be all glory,
with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
one God,
forever and ever.
Amen
