We question Him.
What must I do?
Where is Your will?
How shall I walk this tangled earth
in step with heaven?
But the answer clearly echoes,
not new,
not hidden
in winds or visions,
nor candles or stained glass.
It’s been spoken
in the wilderness,
Etched in stone and sung in psalms.
Shouted by prophets.
Spoken by the Word Himself.
Love.
Do so with all your heart,
not just the parts that feel holy.
With all your soul,
even the fractured pieces.
With all your strength,
especially when it costs.
And with all your mind,
even when it doesn’t make sense.
Do justice,
not just wait for it.
Love mercy,
not just receiving it.
Walk humbly,
not as performance,
but as posture.
This is the way.
No map, just obedience.
No mystery, just surrender.
No shortcuts.
Only the narrow path.
Paved in love.
Worn by grace.
So maybe I don’t need new answers.
Maybe I just need the courage
to live the answers I’ve already been given.
