Maybe this morning
you’ll catch me being Christ to someone.
A quiet kindness, unseen yet felt,
a patience that steadies a weary heart,
a love that does not ask but gives.
Maybe this morning
you’ll see the face of God in my eyes.
No radiant brilliance or grandeur,
just a soft smile of mercy,
and the warmth of a heart turned outward.
Maybe this morning
you’ll hear God’s Word as I speak.
No judgement nor thunder,
but in the love of truth,
a voice clothed in gentleness.
Maybe this morning
my hands will bear Christ’s healing touch.
My feet will walk His path of peace,
my presence will bring His nearness,
and you, too, will glimpse eternity.
Then maybe tomorrow morning
you’ll be God’s face,
God’s Word and truth,
Christ’s hands and feet,
Christ’s presence and peace,
for someone else.
Pass it on.
“Love one another as I have loved you.”
-John 13:34
