The Ninth Station, Jesus Falls a Third Time

An Exhaustive Sacrifice
The dust swirls as He falls again,
body broken, breath faint,
the weight of the world pressing deep.
Does He stay down?
Would we not?
Yet love stirs where strength has failed.
One trembling foot, one final push.
He rises,
because love will not leave us fallen.

Let us pray:
Lord Jesus, who fell beneath the crushing burden,
You know the depths of our weariness,
the weight of sin, the despair of weakness.
Yet You did not remain in the dust,
for love compelled You forward.
Teach us, O Christ, that our own falls
are not the end of our story.
When we are spent, when we cannot go on,
may we remember that You rose again,
not in power, but in surrender.
Lift us, Lord, when we are too weak to stand.
Strengthen us, not with might,
but with the love that endures all things.
And in the rising,
may we follow You to Calvary,
where love is poured out in full.
Amen.
