Lord, we thank You,
for the blessings spread before us—
the laughter of family, the warmth of friends,
a table set in grace and bounty,
turkey, pie, and hands held in prayer.
Still, beyond these gifts,
our hearts turn to You,
the Giver of life, the Source of joy,
the One Who sustains our every breath.
For in You, we find our truest home,
a family held together in spirit and truth,
not by feast or season alone,
but by love enduring,
even as autumn leaves fall.
Thank You, Lord,
for moments that remind us
of what cannot be measured or seen—
a peace that rests within,
a grace that gathers us in.
On this Thanksgiving Day,
may our gratitude rise as song,
echoing heaven’s light,
for You are our beginning and our end,
our reason for thanksgiving,
our everything.
May our prayer
be a reminder of gratitude
not just for what is on the table
but for the One
Who gives meaning to it all.
Amen
