Prayerfully Poetic

A Collection of Prayerful Poems by Tim McGee

Reckless

His love, they say, is reckless, wild,
Like winds that chase the wayward child.
No walls too high, no heart too far,
No wound too deep to leave a scar.

He seeks the lost with fervent grace,
Unmoved by scorn or shame’s embrace.
The broken find in Him their rest,
The outcast, welcomed as His guest.

No caution in the love He pours,
No boundaries keep Him from our shores.
For every heart, He makes a way—
A love that will not turn away.

Is it reckless? Perhaps it seems—
But in His eyes, we’re more than dreams.
His love, relentless, fierce, and true,
Goes far beyond what we would do.
